Session-by-session chart interpretation

A live morning on one market and one timeframe. You mark every completed 15-minute candle on a shared paper canvas, then stay for a short debrief after the window ends.

Fee
Group seat from £185; one-to-one for the same window is £420.
Where
Cross Inn tuition room or live video with the same paper method
Seats
Six seats in the room; four video seats

Who it is for

Adults who can already name common candlesticks but freeze, guess mid-bar, or treat a wick the same at 08:05 as they would at 15:40.

What you leave with

You leave with one fully annotated session sheet, a record of where you spoke too early, and a clearer habit of waiting for the close before you describe the bar.

Scope

One agreed market, one timeframe, one session window. Typical choices are FTSE 100 futures or sterling during the London cash hours. We do not run multi-asset overviews or indicator stacks in this sitting.

Included

  • Seat at the wall canvas in Cross Inn, or a live video seat using the same paper sheet
  • Blank session sheet printed for the agreed date, plus a marked-up copy to take away
  • Fifteen-minute pre-open briefing on overnight leftover range and likely open location
  • Live marking through the window, with each person asked to read at least two closes aloud
  • Twenty-minute debrief once the clocked window ends

Not included

  • Personalised buy or sell recommendations
  • Signals, copy-trading, or managed accounts
  • Marking of your own homework charts (book a private review for that)
  • A catalogue of fifty named patterns

How the sitting runs

  1. You confirm the market, timeframe, and whether you want a room seat or video.
  2. Two days before, you send unmarked prints of the last five sessions on that same timeframe.
  3. On the morning we start 30 minutes before the cash open with a short briefing.
  4. Through the window we mark each close on the canvas. Nobody describes a bar until it has closed.
  5. After the window we walk the sheet once, circling only the bars that changed the session's story.

Preparation

Bring a pencil, a ruler, and those five unmarked sessions. If you attend on video, print the blank sheet we send; do not click replay ahead of the group.

Limits

The room holds six. Video is capped at four so everyone can be heard. We will not switch markets mid-morning. If the agreed market is closed for a holiday, we reschedule rather than substitute a random chart.

Taught by

Rhys Cadogan, in the Cross Inn room or on a live video seat that follows the same paper method.
