What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. This site also uses localStorage for your cookie choice so the banner does not return on every page load. Neither is required for you to read about sittings or to send an enquiry.
Types we use
Essential. We store your accept or reject choice so we can honour it. That storage is necessary to remember a refusal as much as an acceptance.
Analytics (optional). Only if you press Accept may we set a lightweight analytics cookie to see which journal pieces and sitting pages are opened. Rejecting analytics does not close the enquiry form, the journal, or the fee table.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| webcanvaspoint_cookie_consent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so the banner can stay hidden | Until you clear site data (localStorage) | Web Canvas Point (first party) |
| wcp_analytics | If you accept, counts page views of sittings and journal notes; not used if you reject | 6 months | Web Canvas Point (first party) |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also delete cookies and localStorage for this site in your browser settings. Blocking all storage may make the banner reappear; it will not stop you booking a Cross Inn morning by email.
Third-party cookies
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not use advertising cookies or social-media pixels. Embedded photographs are requested from Unsplash or Pexels when a page loads; those hosts have their own notices.
If you disable cookies
The site still works. We simply will not remember a previous analytics choice, and we will not measure which candlestick articles you opened. For how we use other personal data, see the privacy notice.
